Hiking

Nice part of the new Dordtse Biesbosch, especially with children (don't forget the boots). Walking through reeds, dense and open forest, many lakes (in April) and some trees with climbing opportunities for the little ones. And of course a beautiful view of the Brabantse Biesbosch on the waterfront.

I have now done this walk in November, but expect this walk to be more beautiful in the spring when everything is budding and more birds can be seen. Especially when you walk on the duckboards. This flooded area is a true paradise for bird lovers.

Because it is located in the floodplains, Jan it is really wet in wet periods. Mud. Boots on! The real Biesbosch feeling between the pollard willows. There are beavers. Considering the gnawing at the trees.
