The beautiful path was completely and very densely forested two years ago. Today, in some places - unfortunately due to massive forest damage near the summit - there are pretty good views over the Taunus to Feldberg or Atzelberg. The route is ideal if you want to drive off the main roads and with a little more altitude from Idstein towards Eppstein, Hofheim or even to Niedernhausen or vice versa. Also works without problems with the gravel bike, the crosser or good trekking bikes.
