    The Mound of Glory was erected in the places of fierce fighting during Operation Bagration in July 1944, known as the Minsk Cauldron. The nationwide construction began in 1967.
    It is a beautiful well-groomed place: there are benches for rest, a toilet, a Belkopsoyuz store, where you can have a snack and drink coffee. The only difficulty is cycling both from Minsk and from the highway from Raubich. Every time I have difficulties visiting this place on bike tours.
