If you have the time, you should take a short detour from the Werra-Suhltal cycle path and cycle to this beautiful vantage point above Wünschruht.
If you come from the direction of Berka / Herda you drive directly at the entrance of Wünschensuhl, up the tarred dirt road left for about 500m, then turn right and drive on an uneven, but mostly straight dirt road for about 500m to the linden tree of German unity and from here down to this vantage point and further down to Wünschensuhl and back onto the bike path.
