Tips
Do not disturb is easier said than done. I was unlucky that there was a calf hidden in the grass by the fence and I saw it way too late. The whole herd was already racing towards me and the little electric fence. Since I didn't want to depend on whether the fence was doing its job reliably, I fled.
Conclusion: beautiful animals and absolutely worth seeing, but always keep your eyes open ;-)July 28, 2021

Typically Scottish: look wild and unspoilt, but in essence peaceful and frightening. Let them graze and don't bother them.
