Great stop for refreshments, well kept Ale plus Lunch and Evening Meals are good. Wonderful view from the garden over Aylesbury Vale. A favourite stop on a summer evening for refreshments.

Opposite the pub is "The Three Trees" triangle - locally quarried sandstone surround three oak trees. Planted in 1977 to replace the three elms killed by Dutch Elm Disease. Under the central stone lies a Time Capsule buried at the millenium.
