The mural "Rooster Egg" occupies the side wall of a tenement house measuring 16.6 x 13.3 meters. Dome painted it for almost an entire week.

The work, maintained in black, white and gray, depicts a rooster, which is the central part of a surrealist altar or monument. The hands on either side of it, like Greek columns, hold two eggs. They symbolize birth and life.

The artist suggests that this is a work about protecting the family. The two figures in the foreground are the mother (a woman in a hen mask) and a child that has just hatched from the egg. In this context, the rooster-father seems to be taking on a patriarchal pose, being raised on a pedestal. The whole thing takes place on the circular chessboard of life.
