On the site of a ruined stone house in the Vrsar area, world-renowned artist Dušan Džamonja started building his Istrian home in 1965, which, together with the one in Zagreb (where he mainly made models and original sculptures) and the studio in Brussels, is used for drawing , becomes the focus of his work. Džamonja built and realized his house in Vrsar as a holiday residence with a house, workroom, studio, private gallery, workshop, apartment for helpers and a sculpture park.
