The Dornholzhausen Evangelical Church in the Hessian community of Langgöns was built in 1717 from an earlier building from the end of the 12th century. A chancel was added to the medieval nave in the east and a half-timbered porch in the west. The church was Paul Schneider's place of work from 1926 to 1934. It shapes the townscape of Dornholzhausen and is a Hessian cultural monument due to its historical, artistic and urban significance.

The Protestant Church of Dornholzhausen, a district of the Hessian municipality of Langgöns, was built in 1717 by remodeling an earlier structure dating from the late 12th century.

From 1926 to 1934, the church was the place of ministry of Paul Schneider, the "Preacher of Buchenwald," who died in the Buchenwald concentration camp in 1939.
