Back to the current situation: the second to last bridge (at the top at 47.517343, 10.382537) over the stream is not only dismantled in winter, but ALL YEAR ROUND!! So even in summer it is advisable, as F3ttmull says, to take the Kellerwandweg or to take the path over the bridge at the top between Hirschberg and Hirsch-Alpe (it is very beautiful, and goes through the forest most of the time). "Normal hikers" should DEFINITELY turn around or turn off at the sign "Bridge dismantled . . .".
