The sanctuary, formed by the oratory of San Giuseppe and the parish church of Santa Maria Annunziata, is located in the hamlet of San Giovanni in Persiceto called Le Budrie, birthplace of Clelia Barbieri. The saint, who died in 1870 at just 23 years old, is remembered above all for her model of young holiness placed in the environment of the rural parish, and for her dedication not only to the assistance of the poor and sick, but also to education, to work and teaching in society, as a phenomenon of female resurgence.

Every year, on 13 July, the anniversary of her death, the patronal feast dedicated to the saint takes place.
