The Regelbautyp 10 is a frequently built bunker type of the west wall. These bunkers were built during the 1938 Limes program. A total of 3,471 systems of this standard type were built along the entire West Wall.
The bunker is a so-called group shelter with an attached fighting room and consisted of two separate rooms. On the one hand there was a group room, in which the soldiers could stay and sleep on standby, and a combat room equipped with a machine gun, which served to defend the bunker. To secure the entrance, the group shelter, in which 15 soldiers could find space on standby, had a rearward-facing stair gap, which, like other defensive gaps at the entrances, was intended for carabiners. The combat area was equipped with a machine gun MG 34 permanently installed on a carriage, with which the bunker could be defended through a flanking and frontal embrasure.
The walls and ceilings were 1.5 m thick and thus corresponded to expansion thickness B of the Limes programme. The bunkers were 8.9 m × 11.1 m in size

You can get very close and sometimes look inside. You can even see writing on the walls
