17.03.2019 - On the western slope of the Zeil mountain, approx. 3km north of Winden am See, next to the road to Bruck a.d. Leitha, lies the Windener Bear Cave. Consisting of six artificially altered half-caves of different sizes, 1 to 12m, partly built on clefts in brecciated quartzites. The bottom of the largest is covered with debris and large boulders. In spring and autumn, bats of various species are found again and again in narrow crevasses.

The name "Grafenlucke" comes from an old hall designation, the second name of the former residents who lived here until 1918. The forecourt of the caves is offered as a picnic area.
