The St. Josef Chapel is located on a dirt road in the Kirstetter Valley between Asbach and Obrigheim. The chapel was established in 2008 as a foundation by the couple Brigitte and Richard Waibel and is dedicated to the memory of Josef Waibel, Richard Waibel's father, who died in World War II. A cassette with soil from Russia was inserted in the foundation of the chapel after Waibel's grave was discovered there in 2007. The inauguration took place in August 2008 by the former pastor of Obrigheim, Gerhard Hönig.
The chapel also serves as a memorial for those who died in the war by adding two plaques with the names of those who died in the war.

However, the pictures of the fallen in full uniform leave you a little pensive.
