Resterhöhe Reservoir

The reservoir invites you to take a leisurely and enjoyable break, to pause and simply marvel at the fantastic surrounding mountains from the viewing platform.

Great, albeit artificial, lake with a wonderful panorama. Best of all, you don't even have to pedal up. Your bikes will be transported free of charge with the Kitzbüheler Alpen panorama cable car all the way to the top at 1,800 meters. You simply take your bike with you into the gondola. Two bikes and two people possible. The price for a single ascent in 2017 is 11.60 euros. The day ticket for the lift costs 35 euros. One trip per day is free with the Hohe Tauern National Park Card. The mountain restaurant Pinzgablick is located at the mountain station - recommended.
