UPDATE, the potholes road is unchanged, but at the end is the smoothest new road I've ever seen, one extreme to another, but its a good challenge, see photos.

Ponteland gravel road to Dinnington. I call this the ball buster road, easy to produce a flat tire or 2. and for more excitement Its at the end of a shooting range, so hide your bright colours 😉

Late last year and early this year this section of the road was underwater, I walked down it and it was at least 20 cm deep for a long period of time, when the flood receded the road is in a worse condition than I have ever seen it.If you're cycling you'll need a gravel bike or a mountain bike and pick your lines carefully. its really only the middle section thats really bad .
