The path to the Mörchenscharte already shows that the crossing is no child's play. It is secured with ropes at various points and the only way to get to the start is via a large ladder. The tour definitely requires good fitness, surefootedness and a head for heights.

Hiking

Descent from the Mörchenscharte to Floitenbach. Pretty long descent (about 1,000 meters in altitude) but with insanity views as well as exciting rope-insured passages in between. Just before you reach the creek, you have to scramble down a small ladder. Also here: Sure-footedness and a head for heights absolutely must.
