Have the section so far always taken only as a departure. This is definitely worthwhile: Outside the commuter hours little traffic, so far I have hardly heard loud bikers and tidy asphalt. In the serpentines, however, it is important to keep an eye on the oncoming traffic, partly it is close to the curve. As driveway certainly very nice.
