This is exactly where the so-called Rudolfschacht was located from 1884 to 1980. Only after the winding tower was blown up in 1980 was the entire area used as a so-called Rudolfhalde. The Rudolfschacht extended to the Glücksburg seam, which was mined here at a depth of 229m.
