You could almost overlook this beautiful spring, but definitely not ignore it, because a few meters beforehand you can hear its rustling and splashing.
I couldn't find out very much about the namesake of this source, even the sign that mentions the name of the source is overgrown and no longer recognizable.
Prosper Ludwig von Arenberg, thus also the namesake of the circular hiking trail on which this spring is located, was Prince of the Holy Roman Empire, holder of the Grand Cross of the Belgian Order of Leopold, the Dutch Order of Lions, the Prussian Order of the Black Eagle, the Bavarian Order of St. Hubert and the Order of St. Michael , Officer of the French Legion of Honor and colonel of a French cavalry regiment. He lived from 1785 to 1861.
