Here the White Elster flows into the Saale. Shortly before that, the Gerwische flows into the Elster (also called still water here). This is why the Elster at the mouth looks almost larger than the Saale.

Sometimes the water stands up to the path (or blocks it completely), sometimes you don't even see that some beautiful rivers are flowing by nearby 🏞️
