Lochbach Waterfall

Beautiful, wild and romantic stretch of path from Neuthal up to Hohenegg and down to Lochbachtobel (or vice versa, of course), which is part of the Guyer-Zeller trails. From Neuthal you follow the stream, and soon there is a smaller Giessen. Then quite steeply up over many smaller Brüggli and stairs to Hohenegg. There is a resting place there. Then down to the Lochbachtobel there are some imposing, longer bridges and stairs and two more beautiful, this time quite high Giessen. One of the stairs is imposingly long, really steep and even has a platform in the middle with benches on the left and right to relax.

Lochbach waterfall impressed me - this high rock face, where the waterfall, or actually just a trickle, falls down.

As a native of Zurich Oberland, I got to know this place through a photographer from Graubünden. Bad...but beautiful... We learned about long exposure photography, here are some pictures of it. These are the two waterfalls in the front part near the factory.
