    The station is on the route from Esbjerg to Struer (Den Vestjyske Længdebane).

    There are also trains to Nørre Nebel (Vestbanen) from the station. Both routes are currently served by Arriva. Alstom Coradia LINT 41 railcars are used.

    The station was built in 1874 and opened at the same time the line from Varde to Esbjerg opened. In 1975 the line was extended to Ringkøbing. In 1903 the line from Varde to Nørre Nebel was opened.

    In 1919 the line from Varde to Grindsted was opened. The operation of this line was stopped in 1972.

    The station building itself is no longer used as a train station.
