Hiking

The Großvenediger, the "Weltalte Majestät", sits enthroned with the Schlatenkees in front of the valley. The ascent takes 3-4 hours from the Neue Prager Hütte to the summit. The ascent is a high alpine venture and only reserved for experienced mountaineers. A mountain guide is definitely recommended for other aspirants.
