A fantastically beautiful nature reserve. The Venner Moor once developed into an approximately 160-hectare high moor with peat deposits up to four meters thick. Drainage and peat cutting led to the disappearance of the growing bog. Today the area is characterized by birch forests with pine trees rich in dwarf shrubs.
