"It is therefore not surprising that there is a wonderful view of the Osnabrück region from the platform of the tower. Osnabrück can be seen with the Katharinenturm and the Iduna-Hochaus as well as the Piesberg and Ibbenbüren. In the west is the nuclear power plant in Lingen, in the north you can see the Dammer and Stemmer mountains with the Dümmersee. In the east you can see the Wiehen mountain range from Ostercappeln to Lübbecke. When the weather is clear, a total of 37 church towers are visible. "
