Tips
The Col du Galibier is the transition from the Arc valley ("Maurienne") to the Durance valley and to the more southerly passes such as the Col d'Izouard or Col de Vars and the Cote d'Azur. The used North side is clearly heavier with a good 1900 meters.
After the Col du Telegraphe you can fill your bottles again in Valloire - from there it is still 1200 meters in altitude.translated by
