The tracks of the Hamburg Marschbahn have now been almost completely dismantled. The asphalted Marschbahndamm road was built on the railway embankment and is mainly used as a cycle path. Some of the station buildings are still preserved, as are the pillars of the bridge over the Dove Elbe near the Tatenberg lock.

Nice section of route. Because of the trees along the route, you can ride in the shade most of the time.
