The hut on Peca is located on the eastern part of the Peca Mountain. It is open from May to October and in the winter on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays if the weather is nice.
Because the forest is near the hut, there isn't really a view. But the peak of Mala Peca is no less than 10 minutes away for a great view. In the vicinity of the hut is also the cavity of King Matjaž, which is reached in ten minutes of easy walking.
