Path Along the Dijle

You only see the Dijle now and then a bit further but there are several parts where it can be wet and the water from the higher forest collects in the meadows and mixes with streams to form pools and wet grassland up to the Dijle. The path is very varied. So be careful if you decide to bridge the sometimes quite short distance to the Dijle from the path and take a really drier part that can be quite overgrown during this period. There is no real path next to the Dijle itself, you do see limited traces of managers. In any case, you cannot continue to walk next to it. The real path therefore runs through and next to the forest, not along the Dijle itself.
