Yes, the path leads past two probably nameless ponds. You can just see them flashing through the foliage. There is no direct access to the ponds from here, and that's a good thing. They belong to the protected wetland biotope of the adjacent Struckteich. The path is currently rock hard and can quickly become deep in wet weather.
