The evangelical church was built in 1746-54 and renovated in 1894 (building inscription). The unadorned, clapboard half-timbered church of three axes shows a baroque hexagonal turret that is rather rare in this form in Hesse. Until they built their own church, the Huguenots held their services in the hospital chapel in Treysa. Until 1876, the service was still mainly held in French.
