At this point you have a wonderful view of the village of Hoheneiche. From here you can see the Sontratal to the south via Wichmannshausen and the Wehretal to the north to Eschwege. In good weather you can see the Hörne and the Gobert.
Here a bench invites you to rest. The Hoheneiche youth fire brigade used to hold the Easter bonfire here, which now takes place every Easter Saturday at the Barbarossa grill hut.translated by

You can't see anything of the Easter fire place, but it was definitely a great place for an Easter fire.
