Tips
The Limps Tower, originally part of the fortifications of Arnsberg's upper town, dates back to the 13th century. This five-story, semicircular wall tower made of quarry stone, with a slate conical hood and numerous arrow slits, had various names, which probably come from "Limitenturm". Over the centuries, the tower served a variety of purposes, including as a goat stable, prison and accommodation.
