The paddle and pedal station is an inclusive project of the "Friedenstraße" dormitory. There is a kiosk where you can buy refreshments. The wooden loungers are super comfortable. The main task of the station is the rental of bicycles and canoes. There are 20 of these stations in Ostfriesland and you can rent and return rental bikes and boats everywhere. A great idea, you can drive from A to B and don't have to plan a round trip. Or you can go there by canoe and bike back. Hikers have the option of shortening the hike along the canal and cycling to Sande, just before Wilhelmshaven, or to Aurich.
