Enzaue bei Roßwag und Burghalde Nature Reserve

is a nature reserve in the area of the Roßwag district of the large district town of Vaihingen an der Enz in the Ludwigsburg district (NSG number 1.125) in Baden-Württemberg. With an ordinance of September 11, 1984, the Stuttgart Regional Council placed the area under nature protection.

Purpose of protection
... is the preservation of the character of the Enzaue, which is characterized by meadows, individual trees and groups of trees, as well as securing valuable plant locations in the »Burghalde« and on the wooded Enzufer through appropriate use. The river and the bank areas should retain their natural character.

With a good 70 hectares, it is the largest of the protected areas in the Vaihinger district.
