Lahneck Castle above the town of Lahnstein is always worth a visit. I have always been enthusiastic about it, and as a schoolboy I once earned a few DM (yes, it was a long time ago 🙃) with guided tours of the castle. So I can also recommend a visit. From the keep you have a great view of Ober- and Niederlahnstein!
