Tips
At 4,308 feet (1,313 m), Suhi vrh is the highest point on the Nanos plateau. While it's not as popular as Pleša at the massif's southern end, a hike around the edge of the escarpment here is wonderful, with big views and plenty of interesting karst features. The obvious start point for a hike to the summit is the village of Strane.

The Suhi vrh (1313 m) is the highest peak of the Nanos Mountains and offers a fantastic view of the bay of Trieste (west), the Szeznik (south) and the Triglav National Park (north).
