"Around 1846, August began building more buildings to enrich the space of the right bank of Lake Wilanowskie. One of them was the Gamekeeper's Lodge, designed by Christian Piotr Aigner. It was located in the southern, usable part of the park, where an orchard and a vegetable garden were located. The wooden building was built on a high, stone foundation, had a partial basement and a gable roof, as well as utility rooms and an arcade. It served as the forester's and his family's apartment.
