Going up, from the last village, Chianale, to the summit is 10 kilometers with an average gradient of 10% and some ramps of 16%. Very hard!
Going down, as the road is very steep, there are many straights and steep slopes, the road is narrow... it becomes uncomfortable having to use the brakes hard and continuously.
