The two-lane, somewhat bumpy path runs directly alongside the Berlin-Hamburg railway line. The trains whizz past at high speed.

It's a relatively good place to ride a mountain bike and cover some distance.

It's not the best, but it's the shortest and fastest connection between
Schwarzenbek and Friedrichsruh.

If you want to be really shaken up, no matter what kind of bike you're on, this is the place for you. I ride this section once in a blue moon, but the surface is always a disaster. It goes up and down, with lots of stones, ruts, holes, loose ground and endless mud after rain - it's just extremely exhausting to ride because you have to be incredibly careful and constantly change your lane. If you can, ride somewhere else ;-)
