The natural bathing lake with its 300-meter-long sandy beach and park-like lawn for sunbathing is a delightful attraction in the summer months for bathing enthusiasts from the near and far. The water surface of the lake is around seven hectares, at the deepest point the lake measures 17 meters.
A so-called deep aerator continuously enriches the water in the lake with oxygen and thus also contributes to maintaining the biological balance. The regular checks of the water quality confirm this.
Due to its central location on the Berliner Ring opposite the Weststadthalle, the lake is easily accessible for citizens of Bensheim, even without a car. For all those who have to travel a little further, there are sufficient parking spaces available directly at the lake.
