    Hiking

The upper-most part of the Lochaber Hydro-Electric Power Scheme, Spey Dam and its reservoir are an interesting place to explore. It's a tranquil spot in the Central Highlands, with the Pictish hillfort of Dun da Lamh to the south and the lonely Munro summit of Geal Charn to the north. The East Highland Way passes by the dam on its way towards Laggan.
