The Moy Bridge region between Loch Laggan and the Moy Reservoir is often referred to as Mointeach Mhor, meaning 'great moss land.' It is an open and scenic landscape, with only a few scattered buildings, such as Luiblea Cottage and Moy Lodge. Red deer roaming the moors are a common sight here.
