The bridge between Markkleeberg and Leipzig Großzschocher along the S46 road was built from October 2011 to May 2013. It also makes it possible to drive on the S46 when the Elsterflutbett floods.
It is about 118 meters long, 13.25 meters wide and cost about 3.1 million euros. There is a beautiful view of the Elsterflutbett, the Waldsee Lauer and the Cospudener See are only about two kilometers away.
