Today's reception building, which was erected as part of the strategic railway construction, is a representative one-storey Art Nouveau building, which is dominated by a large-format hipped roof and thus picks up on the architecture of the spa and bath house from 1911. It was partially executed in half-timbering.

Bad Münster am Stein station is a separation station. The station building from around 1910 is a listed building. The station, which opened in 1859, was initially a through station for the Nahe Valley Railway, which was then called the Rhein-Nahe Railway. In 1871 the Alsenz Valley Railway, coming from Hochspeyer, got its northern end point in what was then Münster. From 1904 to 1961 it was also the northeast terminus of the Glantalbahn, which was built for strategic reasons and started in Homburg. Source: Wikipedia
