To get from the parking lot in Ludwig-Merkle-Str. To walk to the Sirgenstein cave, you used to have to walk along the B492. Now a new path has been laid through a field to safely get to the Sirgenstein cave. It is 1300m to the cave.

Beautiful cave, easy to explore even without a flashlight. It's just a pity that there is no sign pointing out the hibernating bats, which can be disturbed by visitors, cigarette smoke and noise.
