A ferry to the other bank is shown on cycle maps that are not entirely up to date. These have not been around for a long time. So there is no way to transfer to Lodshuse.

The Enebærodde Lighthouse, 14 meters high, stands at the tip of Enebærodde, directly on the narrow Gabet Strait and opposite Lodshusene on the other side of the Odense Fjord.
If you walk to the tip of Enebærodde,
you will reach the Gabet Strait, the entrance to the Odense Fjord.
Here you will find the famous lighthouse and can also see the mouth of the Odense Fjord, called Gabet.
On the other side of the fjord, you can see Fyns Hoved at the end of Hindsholm.
In the past, you could also easily observe the huge ships from the Lindø Shipyard here as they passed through the narrow, only 500-meter-wide waterway.
The lighthouse was built in 1895-1896 by the Danish Lighthouse Service.
There were other, smaller lighthouses before it.
In 1895, a lens system was installed in the new lighthouse, and later, in 1926, a blue gas burner. Today, the lighthouse has long been powered by electricity.

The lighthouse initially had an external staircase, which was later replaced by an internal one. Unfortunately, there is no access to the lighthouse.

Next to the lighthouse is the old lighthouse keeper's house, which was inhabited until 1960 and is now a private residence.
