It is one of the most beautiful areas in Denmark.
At the tip of Hindsholm, you can still see the remains of the German radar and fortifications from World War II. The current path that leads to the car park was also built during the war - to handle the heavy transport for the construction of the fortifications.

and shallow lagoons. The peninsula offers numerous hiking trails that lead through green meadows and along the coast and is a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
The diversity of flora and fauna, favored by the dry climate, is particularly impressive. The peninsula is also a popular destination for anglers, as the fishing area around Fyns Hoved is considered excellent.
