Hiking

In the Asang bean ore pit, south-west of Michelfeld, an approximately 250 m x 250 m section of land, there are more than 15 holes in the ground of various sizes and shapes, mostly filled with water, as evidence of the former bean ore opencast mine. The ore sniff out lignite ore on the bank edges as pea- to bean-shaped concretions.
